Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. Matt 28:19-20

Advance is a six-month intensive discipleship programme focused on training men and women of God for life. As a ministry of Gospel Central Church, we firmly believe in the role of the local church and the value of being part of a church family. Because of this our training takes place within the context of the local church, Jesus is our model in all things and it is our goal to model our training on the way He walked with His disciples on a day-to-day basis.

Jesus shared every aspect of life with his disciples. They had deep meaningful relationships, which made it possible for Him to speak the truth in love directly into their lives. Advance is not a lifeless training institution, but a place where we are family, who cares for one another.

Advance evolved from our Restore initiative, first established in May 2018. Since inception numerous participants have been successfully employed after completing business, entrepreneurial and soft skills training. Early in 2020, an agricultural training program was added to Restore with encouraging results. Using the principles of Foundations for Farming, our 2021 maize crop produced a yield of 8 tons / ha against the Zambian average of 2.5 tons / ha.

In Jan 2023 Restore was relaunched as Advance, a six-month residential program with a greater emphasis on discipleship. Advance is situated in Makeni, Lusaka with accommodation provided on site. Advance is an ideal opportunity for intentional growth in God, discipleship and understanding one's direction in life. This is a wonderful way of preparing for the future, a future marked by the touch of the living God!
